Social Security Disability Claims Based on Cancer

  • If you have been diagnosed with Cancer, you have a very good change of receiving Social Security Benefits
  • Certain types of Cancer will qualify for the Compassionate Allowance Program, which will permit acceptance of Social Security Disability within a few weeks
  • If you have been diagnosed with a Cancer that does not qualify of the Compassionate Allowance Program, you still have a very good chance of winning Social Security Disability
  • Even though you may not be able to work, due to your treatments, it is likely that you will have to wait 1-2 years before you can have a hearing before a Judge
