Speeding Up The Social Security Case Process

Speeding Up The Social Security Case Process

  • The Social Security Case Process usually takes 2-3 years to be decided and processed
  • You have to wait 12-18 months to sit before a Judge at a Hearing
  • You Attorney can fill out forms that request an Expedited Hearing, based on Dire Financial Need
  • Since the Threshold for this type of Hearing is very high, an individual must show a threat of Eviction or Foreclosure, or must be Homeless
  • Upon proving Dire Financial Need, you will have a hearing within 1-2 months
  • Your Attorney may pass your file to a Senior Attorney that works for your Judge, in order to review an On-The-Record Determination
  • These individuals will likely grant a sooner Hearing to individuals over the Age of 50 or 55
