What Is the Continuing Disability Review or CDR?

  • Every few years, the administration will take a second look at your Case to determine any Medical Improvement
  • If you win Disability Benefits, make sure you continue to see your Medical Providers on a regular basis
  • If you discontinue seeing your Medical Provider, you may have your benefits cut off
  • Younger individuals are more likely to have Continuing Disability Reviews
  • You may be sent for a Medical Examination to check on your Mental Condition
  • Cancer Patients should be extra cautious, in terms of their CDR
  • If your Benefits are cut off, you have 60 days to appeal to those Benefits
  • If you want to continue receiving Benefits after you’ve been cut off, you need to appeal within 10 days
